The basis is the RQM Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Suite, which consists of platform-independent modules that enable a stable and controllable data flow between RQM and other systems.
In order to develop a real-time enterprise company, the integration of all participating systems is required. Integration cannot be bought – it arises step by step in concert with participating partners for each application, each system, each process.
Ideally, integration is done horizontally across the entire value-creation chain from suppliers to all internal processes to the customer and vertically from the ERP system across all levels down to the field level.
RQM includes platform-independent service programs in order to import and export data from and to RQM. Adapter programs are provided for the various systems to be connected and their (sometimes proprietary) file formats in order to transfer other data formats (e.g. XML, ASCII, CSV) into the communication tables and from them to these formats – just as with a travel adapter. In particular, ERP systems frequently provide certifiable interfaces for communication, which RQM supports, as it does the connection of legacy systems.
For the abas ERP system, RQM integration is realized using EDP technology. The certified SAPCON interface is offered for SAP ERP.
